Parish Councillors
Elected every four years by the people of the parish, 13 councillors serve the people of the Almondsbury Parish voluntarily. At the Annual Council Meeting held every May, two councillors are elected to the posts of Chair and Vice-Chair of the council. Councillors are then elected to each sub-committee ensuring knowledge, skills and particular interests are met. Sub-committees individually has delegated responsibilities to deal with many of the council’s major decisions, including strategy, policy, finance, and personnel.
